Itinerary Details

Day 1
Arrival in Kilimanjaro
Arrive in Tanzania and transfer to your lodge in Arusha or Moshi. Meet your mountain guide, receive a trek briefing, and rest before the adventure begins.

Begin Trek to Mandara Huts
Drive to Marangu Gate and start your climb through lush rainforest. Reach Mandara Huts by afternoon and opt for a walk to Maundi Crater with views of Kenya.Drive to Marangu Gate and start your climb through lush rainforest. Mandara to Horombo Huts
Trek through heath and moorland zones with panoramic views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Arrive at Horombo Huts for a scenic overnight above the clouds.

Acclimatization Day to Mawenzi
Take a short acclimatization hike toward Mawenzi Volcano. Return to Horombo Huts for a restful afternoon with stunning vistas of the alpine desert.

Horombo to Kibo Huts
Ascend steadily across the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo. Reach Kibo Huts and rest early in preparation for your midnight summit push.

Summit Uhuru Peak & Descend
Begin your summit climb at midnight. Reach Gilman’s Point at sunrise and continue to Uhuru Peak (19,341 ft). After photos, descend to Horombo Huts for a well-earned rest.
DAY 6 Summit Uhuru Peak
Day 7
Final Descent & Departure
Hike down through rainforest to Marangu Gate. Receive your summit certificate and transfer to your lodge for a shower, celebration, and onward travel.
